Thank you for taking a moment to visit joliecolis.com. I’m so excited about the launch
of this site and the company. For those of you who didn’t take French, jolie colis (zho-lee
ko-lee) means, “the pretty parcel.” Jolie Colis is all about giving gifts in a way that is gracious,
luxurious, and stylish.

Why did I start Jolie Colis? For a few reasons:

1. I love creating fabulously wrapped gifts and delighting recipients.
2. There’s nothing like the feeling of having best dressed gift in the room. Try it sometime!
3. Because presentation matters. Swiss philosopher John Lavater once said, “The manner
of giving shows the character of the giver, more than the gift itself.” I agree wholeheartedly.

I’ve been in love with paper for as long as I can remember. Before coming back to Syracuse,
I worked for the marketing team at Kate’s Paperie in New York City, where I taught classes in
gift wrapping, scrapbooking, and other paper crafts. I’ve appeared on the Martha Stewart
Living program, on Fine Living, and have appeared in Redbook and Hallmark magazines.
